My prediction: AOC will run for president, and Zohran Mamdani will replace Chuck Schumer in the Senate.
Some Republicans are cheering that our opponents are crazy. I’m not.
This is bad for America. I may disagree with Democrats on taxes and regulations, but this country needs two parties that actually love America.

Analysis Summary
Cruz is predicting AOC will run for president and that Zohran Mamdani (NYC Mayor since March 2025) will replace Chuck Schumer in the Senate. The first reflects real discussion—AOC is being talked about as a potential 2028 presidential candidate and leads primary polls, though she hasn't announced. The second is more speculative—there's no evidence Mamdani will actually replace Schumer, though media coverage does frame him and his political allies as part of a progressive movement that could influence Democratic politics. Cruz then pivots to concern-trolling about Democratic political health, but his predictions remain firmly in the realm of speculation rather than grounded in confirmed developments.
Claims Analysis (2)
“AOC will run for president”
No campaign announcement made. Polling shows her leading 2028 primary, but this is speculation, not prediction of fact.
“Zohran Mamdani will replace Chuck Schumer in the Senate”
Mamdani is NYC Mayor as of March 2025. Schumer is still active U.S. Senator. No indication of retirement or succession plan. Framing conflates local and federal office.
