By accessing or using ClearFeed ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ClearFeed aggregates social media posts from public sources (Bluesky, Mastodon, Reddit, and others) and uses AI to score them for trustworthiness, accuracy, and bias. The Service provides trust signals as informational tools — not as definitive fact-checks or legal determinations.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

ClearFeed offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription at $1.99/month. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or restrictions
• Misrepresent ClearFeed trust scores as official fact-check rulings

6. Content Disclaimer

ClearFeed displays content from third-party social media platforms. We do not create, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of this content. Trust scores are AI-generated estimates and should be treated as one signal among many — not as absolute truth.

7. Intellectual Property

The ClearFeed name, logo, scoring algorithms, and UI design are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@clearfeed.app.

9. Limitation of Liability

ClearFeed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on trust scores.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
