The RSF has been documented by the U.S. State Department and UN as committing genocide in Darfur—that part is solid. But the claim that "we enable weapons" to the RSF is misleading. The UAE is the documented supplier of weapons to the RSF; the U.S. has actually worked against this by imposing sanctions on RSF leaders and attempting to restrict UAE weapons transfers. Conflating Gulf ally behavior with U.S. government culpability overstates American responsibility for a problem the administration has actively tried to address.
