If anybody is wondering, mastodon.social server got DDoS’d yesterday but it had no impact on cyberplace.social (and other Mastodon servers) - no queue issues either. Everything just worked as expected.
In other news, “decentralised” network BlueSky has been down so much recently the status page doesn’t even work.

Analysis Summary
Mastodon's flagship mastodon.social server was hit by a DDoS attack on April 20-21 that temporarily disrupted service, but the federated architecture meant other Mastodon instances including cyberplace.social continued operating normally. BlueSky has also faced recent DDoS attacks and service instability, which the post frames as a contrast to Mastodon's resilience — though the specific claim about BlueSky's status page being broken cannot be independently confirmed.
