Conservationists are reintroducing mountain bongo antelopes, Africa's rarest antelope species, into Kenya's forests as part of a major effort to save them from extinction. The antelopes earned the nickname 'ghost of the forest' because their striped coat and elusive behavior make them nearly invisible in dense vegetation. Four bongos were flown from zoos to Kenya to establish a wild population, marking a significant conservation milestone for a species once thought lost in the wild.
